Flipkart Runway is not your average internship. Now in its 5th season, the program was created to give women engineers an early start in their tech careers. It’s specifically designed for second-year undergrad students (graduating in 2027) and third-year dual degree students who are ready to take on real-world challenges.
This initiative provides participants with hands-on project experience, exposure to real-time problem-solving, access to Flipkart’s tech ecosystem, and an opportunity to connect with mentors and industry experts.
But here’s the kicker — selected candidates may also receive a Pre-Placement Interview (PPI) opportunity with Flipkart. That means you could potentially lock in your future with one of India’s most renowned tech companies before you even graduate.
Eligibility & Round Details

- Open to all female engineers enrolled in full-time engineering programs, regardless of specialization. Eligible applicants must be in their second year of undergraduate studies (expected to graduate in 2027) or third year of dual degree programs (expected to graduate in 2027).
- Ability to complete a full-time, 8 to 10-week internship between May to July 2025 (exact program dates will be provided at a later point in the process).
- Basic level programming experience in C/ C++/ Java/ JavaScript or Python, etc.
